Wish List: Flower House (TOMAX, 1500pc) *UPDATED*

This 1500 piece puzzle from Tomax is a welcomed reminder that I should branch out beyond their miniature puzzle series.

At the time of posting, it's carried by a few different retailers including eBay, but SimplePastimes.com has it available for the lowest price, $23.95.

This Heye puzzle, a pop cultural print of Los Angeles, is one of the items I picked up as a souvenir from my afternoon outing to Jigsaw Jungle. It is the first Heye puzzle in my collection, so I'm excited to test out this brand.

Looks like the puzzle is still available at Jigsaw Jungle, though in low quantities, as well as Amazon.

Teppei Sasakura via Imaginatorium

East meets West at Imaginatorium, an online shop based in Japan that stocks a wide variety jigsaw puzzles including traditional Japanese art, scenic landscapes, anime, fantasy, and Western themes (there's an Anne of Green Gables category!).

I haven't (yet) ordered from the site myself, but the homepage mentions that store items can be shipped worldwide. The FAQ page has more information.

The puzzles range from 300 to 3000 pieces, and the brands they carry aren't the same ones found in North American retailers, so it's a great spot to discover something new, like the Teppei Sasakura illustration above.

Wish List: The Stolen Kiss (STEP puzzle, 1500pc)

Just discovered another source for larger puzzles: STEP puzzle. As you can see from the website, the company is based in Russia, and they offer puzzles ranging from 1000 to 6000 pieces.

Construction grade is TBD, as I haven't come across any comments regarding the brand's puzzle quality.

The one pictured above comes from the Russian Museum Collection, which includes artwork I haven't seen elsewhere (in jigsaw puzzle form), so art history buffs may especially appreciate their offerings.

Not a fan of fine art? No worries. Based on the online catalog (Google Translate comes in handy unless you can read Russian), their selection is quite diverse, so it may still be worth checking out if you're on the hunt for a new challenge.

I might need to take a detour from my plan of tackling only 3K+ challenges for this 1500pc from Educa. Big fan of the picture itself (the flowers, the moped, the color tones and hues...), and I've seen only positive reviews of its Barcelona-based manufacturer.

At the time of posting, the puzzle is available on Amazon, as well as Puzzle Warehouse for a couple $$ less.
