Analysis

With 30+ reviews on Amazon and an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, there isn't much to say about this puzzle that hasn't already been said, and I'm in agreement with the masses: overall quality is good.

One downside? DUST. Get that dust buster ready...

The puzzle has a bit of a look and feel of an "old school" jigsaw puzzle, like the kind you might have found in your family attic 20 years ago. Perhaps the reason is the matte finish. A lot of the puzzles I've worked on recently have had a glossy finish, so it is refreshing to work on one that doesn't. Or perhaps it's the shapes of the pieces, which remind me of the puzzles I worked on while growing up. Or maybe it's just the picture itself.

Back to the puzzle. The pieces are sturdy, cut with precision, and fit snugly together, though not so much that any were damaged when taken apart and put back in the box. The sky was a tad tedious, but the rest of the puzzle - gorgeous autumn colors and all - was fun to assemble.
